While we were all saddened to see the old landmark Groff's close for good, I have to say Nino's stepped right up to fill that void on the boardwalk! Everything on the menu looks great, and huge portions all around. Service was very friendly and on top of things! Prices, not bad at all. Good job Nino's, we'll be back next vacation!
New location for Nino's which replaced an old favorite restaurant. Gave it a try and while a bit pricey for a near boardwalk location, it was worth it. Portion sizes were more than ample. Scallops were best she has had in years, per my discerning wife. Service was attentive but not intrusive. All of our meals were better than we had expected, before going in. We will make Nino's a must do every year now.
Didn't get a chance to eat so this review is on service only. We were a party of 8. The restaurant wasn't even half full and there were many of the staff were standing around. We were also seated right by the hostess. After 15 minutes, we still didn't have water and were not even acknowledged so we decided to leave. As we got up, the waitress came over with water. We explained why we were leaving and rather than apologize, she made excuses. We went across the way to Stewart's, where we were waited on immediately and with a smile.
6 of us went for dinner 7/22. We had no wait. We were seated imeditly.The waitress was outstanding.She could not do enough. The food was hot and huge potions as always. the price was very fair as always. Nino's is a favorite of ours and who ever we take goes back. I wish I could remember the person who took care of us but she works at the Courthouse location and we applaud her. A GREAT place.
love, Love, LOVE this place... I always get the chicken parm. BIG great portion size for the amount you pay. Staff is always friendly and its very clean! I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for great family style Italian food! One of my favorite places to eat!
