We come to Wildwood every September and eat at Macks several times. We talk about Macks all winter. Macks, is, hands down, the real best pizza in Wildwood. Great crust, great cheese, great sauce and fantastic service.
The wait wasn't worth it. The pizza was burnt on one side. The pizza had no flavor. The old woman at the counter was rude.
Best pizza on the boardwalk. Been going there for 20 years. I would eat it there as it tastes better. Not as good when delivered.
I measure all pizza's against pizza I had in Naples, Italy, when I visited a couple years ago, so it's very difficult to get a 5 star review from me. Macks is good pizza, just not good enough to get that fifth star. Prices are reasonable, although I did find the seating area downstairs to be fairly warm, which is to be expected with the proximity to the ovens.
I don't eat a lot of Za but have to have at least 2 slices a day when in WW. My rents turned me on to Macks in the 70s and like a drug I've gots to git me fix. Looking forward to summer. Beach and Macks now that's living the good life
