The service here is very good. The rooms are very clean, it is close to the beach, and the people are very friendly. The rooms are very nice as well.
EDIT: We moved to the John Masefield with a daybed and trundle and a door on the bedroom, then to the DH Lawrence and tomorrow the RL Stevenson. They're a AWESOME, especially the DH. This room has it all; a small kitchenette, fridge, microwave, KING BED and daybed / trundle. I'll just live here. No breakfast but that's ok. This place is the best, just don't take the Warner.
Weve been here 3x before and loved it every time. Unable to get one of our usual rooms, we opted for the William Warner "cottage", which MGMT makes a point of offering as "Perfect for a family of 4". Not quite. It's just too small.
A quite and cute establishment run by a nice family is only a short 10 minute walk to the water. Only downfall was their misleading info on the room (Thomas Hardy) saying we had a full fridge and 2 queen beds when in actuality we had a mini fridge and a queen bed along with two seperate twin beds to push together. We were a little crammed and the bathroom could get chaotic with a lack of space/shelving. Overall a great experience at a nice little family owned inn!
We have stayed here multiple times, and have loved it every time! Each room has a unique design and style. The breakfast is always delicious. They always make some type of baked item. I especially love the chocolate chip cinnamon coffee cake, or blueberry coffee cake. They have coffee, juice or tea, cup of fruit, and then a hot food item, which could be french toast and sausage, or eggs benedict. Trust me when I say, you will not leave breakfast hungry. If you appreciate antiques, then you could spend hours looking around this house. Highly recommend them! We will be back. Hopefully soon!
This place really made our trip. We stayed in the William Morris room (it's an attic that is nicer than any hotel room in Wildwood). I'm 5'9" and didn't have any problems. It was a very romantic space for my wife and I to get away for a long weekend. The innkeepers were very nice and breakfast was excellent. There are many amenities that you can read about but one that we looked past was that they have bikes that guests can use! There's nothing like cruising a shore town on a bicycle. I would absolutely recommend this place, worth every penny.
