My four star rating is for when it is still light out. We love the different food shops (pizza, frozen custard, gyros, etc.) and the arcades (especially to play Skeeball). But at night the boards get more seedy and less appealing for families. Just the way things are.
One if the best boardwalk and beach in NJ for me and my family. I drive here a lot for day trips during summer. Love it...
I love looking in the little shops and so many places to eat. I like looking out at the ocean, watching the waves and feeling the ocean breezes. Before leaving it's a must to stop in James Saltwater Taffy store and buy a box, they are the best.
