We ate here two years ago and we were blown away. We had a nice romantic dinner and the food was amazing. However, we just ate here again this evening and what a let down. The service was top notch and the drinks were great but the kitchen really blew it. Everything we ordered had so much garlic that it was all you could taste. The soft shell crabs we're flavorless and had so much panko on them that it was like eating a deep fried lump of breading. This is a shame because we really enjoyed it the first time, but at $120 for a couple it's not worth chancing a bad meal again for us.
Food is great but $$$$. Had "1/2 Grand Mariner Glazed Duck" first time I've ever seen 1/2 a duck that was the rear half (2 drumsticks, no breast.) They could've mentioned that in the menu description, but it was good. Also had Clams Casino. Would have been nice if they'd have actually cut the clam loose from the shell so it didn't get pulled off the fork along with the very good stuffing. For the price, the little extra touches should have been taken care of.
Had our twentieth anniversary here w delicious dinner.. Service.. And view.. Ask the Hostess to seat you in a high top for the best of both worlds when the weather is nice
Our favorite Wildwood destination. My wife loves seafood and this is her favorite place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent food. Very nice setting. Took our two small children and enjoyed ourselves. Wait times can get long so go early, but totally worth the wait. Our favorites are the Seafood a la Vodka and the Shrimp Asperge.
Food amazing. Location awesome. Drinks excellent. My reason for not more than three stars, I got charged for ice in my scotch. It wasn't the 50 cents for the ice, it was the principal. I was informed by the manager, that for a scotch with ice it's a different pour. Lol. Up to this point in my life I was always under the assumption that a drink with ice had less. Anyway that's why i didn't score this restaurant more than three stars.
